Puppy Foundation

Bringing home a puppy is an exciting time, but those early months are also the perfect opportunity to build the foundations for a happy, confident and well-mannered dog.Our Puppy Foundation Class focuses on essential life skills, positive learning and, most importantly, building a strong and trusting bond between you and your puppy. We believe training isn't just about teaching commands — it's about developing communication, confidence and a relationship that will last a lifetime.Throughout the course, we'll work on: confidence building, lead walking, recall, polite greetings, calm behaviour and settling, impulse control, guarding prevention, and focus and engagement.We'll also provide practical advice and guidance on some of the biggest challenges puppy owners face, including toilet training, puppy biting, separation training and crate training.Our aim is to give you the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to help your puppy grow into a happy, confident and well-adjusted adult dog, while creating a positive relationship built on trust, understanding and teamwork.The best time to start building those lifelong skills is from day one.

Improvers Class

Ready to take things further? Our Improvers Class builds on the foundations and introduces more advanced skills in a fun, supportive group environment. Perfect for dogs aged 6 months and over, or those who have completed our Puppy Foundation Course, this class is all about developing focus, reliability and calm behaviour in the real world. We'll work on skills including impulse control, loose lead walking, recall, calm behaviours, focus around distractions, polite greetings and more — helping you and your dog become a confident, well-connected team. A great next step for continuing your training journey and taking those everyday skills to the next level.

Behaviour Support

Behaviour Support

Tailored

Does your dog struggle when left alone, or are you worried about a particular behaviour? Terri offers compassionate, personalised support, with a particular focus on separation anxiety.We'll take time to understand your dog's needs, your concerns and how things are affecting everyday life. Together, we'll develop a practical plan aimed at helping your dog feel more secure, with manageable steps that fit your circumstances.Separation anxiety consultations take place via Zoom, so you can access support from home, wherever you're based. You'll have space to ask questions and understand how to support your dog, without judgement or pressure.Get in touch to discuss your dog's needs.

Time dedicated to you, your dog and the things you’d like help with. Whether you’re working on loose-lead walking, recall or everyday manners, Terri offers friendly, practical guidance tailored to your goals. Using kind, reward-based methods, you’ll learn together at a pace that suits your dog. Sessions take place at our training field or another location agreed with you. Session length is flexible, depending on the support you need and what suits your dog, with the duration and cost agreed before booking. Private sessions are a good option if group classes don’t suit you or you’d prefer individual support. You’ll have time to ask questions, practise your skills and leave with clear steps to continue at home. Get in touch to discuss what you’d like to work on.

Sighthound Social Walks

Sighthound Social Walks

Join Terri for an hour's relaxed, friendly walk for sighthounds and their people. They're a chance to enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow owners and help your dog practise social skills at their own pace, with space to feel comfortable.We weave in a little training along the way, keeping it short, fun and useful for everyday life. Think calm walking around other dogs and checking in with you, with plenty of time for sniffing and enjoying the surroundings.For Terri, bringing people together is a big part of the joy. Sharing stories, having a laugh and watching friendships grow makes these walks just as much for the humans as the hounds.
